Alfonzo's Story...
Alfonzo is a dapper 1 year old cat available for adoption. He has a laid back personality and is so patient with anything he has to do. Alfonzo is a talker but that is only because he has so many stories to tell from all the adventures he went through while living in the streets. He tells us he made many friends and because he was liked by all, he was always invited to feasts! Alfonzo is about as relaxed as any cat can be in a shelter. He hangs out over your shoulder as you go about your day to day tasks or lounges across your lap when its time for a nap. Looking as handsome as he does, he makes sure he gets his beauty sleep daily and always has a smile when he's all passed out on his soft bed. Alfonzo can't wait to find a family! His adoption fee is $110 and includes all his vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/Felv test, and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfonzo, a Joliet Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
