About Shay's Stray's Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Shay's Strays Animal Rescue provides a temporary, safe home for abandoned, discarded dogs/puppies. Our animals come to us in a variety of ways, but the majority of those that we rescue are from high kill shelters, families who can no longer care for them and/or strays roaming the streets. While our goal is to help these animals find safe permanent homes as quickly as possible, we know that some will have a long road ahead, and they are welcome to stay with us for as long as it takes. Often, we provide much needed medical attention, socialization, and training so that the animals in our care have the best chance at a new life.

Our Adoption Process...

It is necessary for you to meet the dog you are interested and have a one on one interview with our placement coordinator. We also require a signed contract. Medical Records accompany each dog that is adopted.

The adoption fees for our dogs and puppies vary depending on the pet you are interested in. The adoption fee includes, Spay/Neuter, first series of parvo and distemper vaccines (good for one year), microchip, deworming, flea treatment, a free vet visit with our vet at his facility and it also goes torwards helping us rescue other animals in need.
