marcus's Story...
Hi I'm Marcus!

I'm a 5 year old fella who loves snuggle time with my special 'purr'son. I am front paw declawed, so you won't have to worry about me tearing up your furniture and curtains. Of course, I'd like to think I'm also far too mature for that activity- i'll leave that to my kitten counterparts at the shelter! I get along great with people who also enjoy just curling up and taking it easy. We can be couch potatoes together!

I was found abandoned at Muskegon Humane, in the midst of a torrential downpour no less. I'm not sure what I did to warrant that kind of parting, but I'm hoping that someone out there will really appreciate me for the kind and gentle boy that I am! I would love to find a family that I can call my own 'fur'ever.

Get to know me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

marcus, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
