Alvin's Story...
EST DOB: 7/9/16
Alvin is a muffin making, q-tip crazy trouble maker. He chirps when he is given a q-tip and plays with it till he either looses it or it falls apart. You would think the q-tip was a live bird he gets so protective!

Alvin, along with his brother Alvin and sister Simone, were rescued from a local shelter as tiny little things. They went into a great foster home in which they received wonderful daily TLC and lots of good nutrition. They are growing like weeds and are ready for their forever homes. They can be adopted individually but it would be wonderful to keep a couple of them together. The boys are independent but Simone likes to have her brothers around. They are quite the 3 stooges.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Flower Mound Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
