Precious's Story...
Precious is nothing short of a bunny warrior! He was surrendered as a baby with a very unusual and rare form of splay leg syndrome which we have worked hard to try to correct without success *because Precious refuses to slow down lol* Precious is in Sanctuary here due to his medical condition and constant monitoring. He miraculously doesn't seem to realize he is disabled and runs, jumps, binkies and plays like a champion! We built Precious a special cart to be utilized during outside-habitat time only to limit the possibility of overexertion and he simply will not slow down! We are looking for a SPECIFIC home for Precious to adopt him! He cannot be neutered due to his disability and needs a specific habitat and play area; which we certainly can discuss with an approved applicant! Our policy for rabbits with disabilities preventing sterilization is that they are the ONLY rabbit in the adoptee's home. Precious uses joint supplements daily and thick, soft fleece liners! He loves pets, and when held correctly with his condition he enjoys attention on all levels! He is by far the sweetest rabbit with an amazing personality who will WOW you with his abilities! If you're interested in meeting Precious please fill out an adoption application on our website! His adoption fee is $75 due to more costly veterinary care provided by our rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious, a Grandville Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Grandville, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Grandville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grandville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grandville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grandville paves the way for another one to be saved.
