Violet's Story...
Meet Violet, a sweet 13 week old lab mix. Violet is the ultimate cuddle bug, loving nothing better than snuggling in her foster family's arms on the couch. She is very food motivated and eager to learn - already working on "sit", and also working on potty training on the pad, with several successes. She settles into her crate just fine at night after a bit of protesting. She likes roughhousing with her foster brother puppy, and chewing on the ears of the resident older dog. A great dog for someone who wants a cuddler!

If you are interested in meeting and thinking about adoption, please visit our website, http//www.wagginghearts.org, and submit a completed adoption application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are only able to process fully completed applications. All applications are processed in the order that they are received. On our website you will also find our adoption process and fees. Since we are a foster based rescue we are unable to set up meet and greets until a completed application is on file and has been approved.

Wagging Hearts is a foster-based, non-profit rescue organization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a Hainesville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
