My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pharoah. The name conjures up images of tall pyramids, but today the name will belong to a 19 pound Chihuahua mix who’s just had his second birthday. Our Pharoah is a low energy guy who loves other dogs and plays respectfully and kindly with them, who loves cats, and knows when they’ve had enough, and who enjoys the children in his foster home and lets them run his belly. Foster mom says that he is a cuddler and a kisser, and he seems to be very grateful for the human affection he receives. She has been very impressed with his gentle nature and his eagerness to please. When our fosters notice these things about their dogs, we are always glad to hear it. They are the ones who spend the most time with the dogs who come to us, so we value their opinions deeply! Foster mom says that Pharoah is learning sit and stay, and that he does very well in his crate. He might whine a little, but he quiets down nicely. He walks well on his leash with a harness, and he is just about house trained. He isn’t nippy and he doesn’t chew stuff up. Foster mom describes him as affectionate, joyful, playful, and eager to please. Sometimes good things come in small packages. We certainly think this is true of Pharoah!
