Facts about SADIE

  • Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
SADIE is a six-year-old Stafford Terrier mix who is looking for her Forever Home after being dragged by a truck. She currently takes medication for her high anxiety and we are pairing that with an ongoing training program to help ease her fears.

SADIE has made progress over the past few months. She has successfully been socialized within multiple play groups with other NAR pups. Sadie has done well within the company of other dogs and has spent significant time at home with our trainer and his active, larger male dog. Her obedience continues to improve. She is a sweetheart once she learns to trust you and she will melt your heart if you choose to bond with her. She's a sweet girl who enjoys playing in the sunshine, long belly rubs and squirrel watching.

SADIE could easily live in a home with another dog. Children should be older and more mature. Her surroundings should be more mellow or calm, not chaotic or an overly-busy household. With continued monitoring and training, sweet Sadie will make an incredible life companion.

SADIE is vaccinated and spayed. She is house and crate trained, micro-chipped and is heartworm negative. We require an application, home check and adoption fee. We do adopt out of state and can assist with transport arrangements. Our dogs are not allowed to fly cargo.

All our dogs are in foster care and have a safe place with us until they find their forever home. We are located near Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

About Noah's Arks Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Noah’s Arks Rescue is a group of individuals working to end the senseless killing in shelters all across the country. We supply emergency medical, surgical and rehabilitation care to abused and neglected animals.

We are not a shelter. The only animals we foster are the ones that are in our surgical and rehabilitation programs. Our wish and our lifelong hope is that our society becomes better educated in the ethical treatment of all animals. We focus on animals that depend on us for their right to life.

Please help those who cannot help themselves. If you are considering a companion animal, please, contact us. If you cannot adopt but would like to help, consider becoming a foster parent or make a donation. All of our donations go toward saving the life of an animal that has been abused or severely neglected.

We are also always looking for volunteers who help us at adoption events. Contact us for further details. NAR is fully-funded by your generous donations. Without you, we could not help all the animals we do. We are the last ray of hope for the animals we rescue. We take in those society has forgotten. We are volunteers and don’t take any donated funds for our services. Our reward is seen in the eyes of the animals we help.

Help us help them. All donations are tax deductible. Noah’s Arks Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit. On our website (http://www.noahs-arks.net), you can see some of the animals we've helped over the years and the most recent ones we are currently trying to offer a new chance at life.
