This gorgeous girl is Penny. She is about 8 months old and weighs around 40 lbs right now. She is as sweet as can be and loves playing with people and other dogs! She has not met any cats yet. Penny was adopted out as a puppy, but her family contacted us when they were unable to keep her due to no fault of her own. She's been around small kids and is very respectful of them. She even knows how to sit, lay down, and come when called. Penny's only downfall is her tendency to show food aggression with other dogs. She will need someone experienced with that type of behavior and willing to put in the time to work on training. Penny is house trained and crate trained. Apply now to adopt this love bug!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Double Event Weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League for their Black Furday Sale on Friday, November 25th at Petland in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Your Healthy Pet in Newtown, CT on Saturday, November 26th from 10am-2pm. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend! **Note: There will be NO EVENT Sunday, November 27th**
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative and also has been examined by a CT vet in compliance with HB 5368. The adoption fee is $400.
