Jordan Ferry's Story...
I'm Only Looking Forward!
Jordan was born about May 1, 2015 and weighs about 58 lbs. She is a happy, social, fun, girl that was raised, in a home with her sisters, by senior citizens that were having health issues. A wise trainer once told me that siblings shouldn't grow up together as, sometimes, later in life there could be problems. So, we will not place these girls together, but we do need to place them in a home with another fun dog as that is what they are used to. Just like us we can't always be with the same person for our lifetimes, but many of us go out and find someone new, maybe even better. ; ) Jordan is house trained and they were using a harness type walking devise that we are going to try to save to send home with them. If you decide to adopt you may want to remind us that we have them tucked away in the file drawer. They were around small children and were wonderful. They do tend to jump and may steal food so that is a consideration for some homes that don't care to do much training. These girls are not move in ready, but they are gorgeous and really sweet. They can't help they are part Pointer and if you've ever known a Pointer you know that they just want to have fun! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $275.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
