My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COTTON is a 2 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 54 pounds. Cotton is very sweet, she is an active and loving pup. Once she gets to know you which only takes a few minutes she is very friendly and likes to get petted. When you have her sit half the time she ends up on her back so you can rub her belly. She likes to retrieve and brings it back most of the time. She will make some lucky family a great addition to their family. She needs to go home with families that have that have a fenced yard as they would probably wander. She must be adopted with another dog. Good with other dogs lived with two other dogs, Sage & Pumpkin. They have been out with other Lab Rescue dogs with no problems. She knows sit, come. Will have training addendum. Pulls on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Most likely house trained, waits until he goes outside to go.
Cotton, Sage and Pumpkin, came in together, and are like three peas in a pod, they act the same and have the same loving traits. They are energetic, have some manners and are very loving. The three of them are happy, playful and friendly and will make wonderful additions to anyone's home. We don't know much about their past besides they were turned in to a shelter as the owners were moving and they couldn't take them with them. We tried to contact their old owner but the phone had been disconnected. I think that Pumpkin may be Cotton and Sage mother. They were cared for as they all come in spayed and look good. They are all a little shy when you first meet you. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update:Cotton#2 is such a sweet girl. She is settling in well and getting along with everyone (including the resident two labs). She is absolutely precious and loves giving lots of kisses and tail wags. She would be the perfect addition to a home that has lots of love to offer. Watch Cotton here: https://youtu.be/i1U7RaeMJKQ

Update: Cotton, affectionately referred to as "Cotton Ball" is a doll, but a little shy. She knows come and sit and is learning "off", "stay", and "down" and seems to catch on quickly. Cotton is the epitome of a velcro lab and follows her human around the house (which can make photographing her tough!). She likes to play in the yard a little bit and is very good with the resident dogs. She does like to give kisses and likes lots of loving. She's a bit hand shy and needs humans to go slow with her as she learns to trust, but this girl is going to make a wonderful family member.
