Shea's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Shea's Story...
Shea is a very sweet 2yo Retriever mix. She is housetrained and will sleep in a crate but so far hasnt been destructive when loose in the house. She likes other dogs but can be protective over her food towards other dogs so we feed her in her crate. Because of this we would prefer she be an only dog or adopted by someone that has worked with resource guarding before. This is absolutely not an issue around people only dogs. Email us for an application and more information on Shea.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shea, a Cave Creek Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cave Creek, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cave Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cave Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cave Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cave Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
