Chester **the ninja's Story...
Chester is a retired ninja. When he was a kitten, he was in karate and he excelled in every way possible. His karate instructor suggested to move up in the karate world, and the next step up was to be a ninja. He spent months training for it and was finally able to work out in the field, but on his first day on the job, he never really felt like he belonged, then on his second day, he was injured, and had to be put in a shelter to heal and recover. But once he was fully recovered, he realized that the ninja life was not the life that he wanted, what he really liked was being petted by humans, and just living the normal cat life, just kick back, and chillin out. but still every once and awhile, the inner ninja kicks in and he runs and leaps off the shelves of the shelter. but his main job now is just to lay back and enjoy being a normal cat. hopefully in your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester **the ninja, a La Crescent Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La Crescent, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La Crescent.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Crescent already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Crescent breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Crescent paves the way for another one to be saved.
