Katie's Story...
In order to meet this kitty, you must fill out the application at Katie is a 5yr old, spayed and front declawed Showshoe Siamese. This breed is very intelligent and will entertain you for hours with their antics. We adopted a female Snowshoe years ago to a young couple. Shortly after the adoption, they invited friends and relatives to their home to help them celebrate their anniversary. When all of a sudden Miss Kitty showed up in the living room with her Mom's bra in her mouth. Miss Kitty became an instant hit, and as you can well imagine, her antics that day were fondly remembered for many anniversaries after that. To start your own kitty stories, read about Katie: "I came to AJ's Best Friends because my owner passed away. I was really sad after she died, but now I'm ready to find my new home with a single person or a couple. I haven't lived with any cats or dogs, so I'd prefer to be the only furkid in your life. When I want your attention, I can almost stand on my head I want your touch so much. I like laying in the sun, hearing your soft voice calling my name when you sit down to relax. My favorite things are: Temptation treats, having my head scratched, my back rubbed and a warm lap to lay in. So let's share the future together and start our own anniversary story! Don't forget to fill out the application. You can't meet me without it."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Gilbert Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
