A Schnauzer mix is a perfect best friend for those with who are searching for an extremely smart and loyal family dog. They're famous for their great personalities and loving and snuggly ways. Schnauzers always have stunning coat that, when well-cared for, are cottony-soft and shining. Winnie's coat has the most beautiful colors running through it...shades of the darkest black with distinguished silver streaks. With great nutrition, these colors will shine and light up Winnie's beautiful and very wise face.
These sweet Schnauzer mixes are also known to love being part of a family...so great with their beloved people and other family pets. And since they require a certain amount of exercise (like all dogs) and love being with their people...if a walk is the order of the day - count them in! Winnie would truly enjoy cruising the neighborhood paths...and then crashing on the couch snuggling close to her favorite humans and canines. Winnie is an absolutely adorable and engaging girl (so sorry about the awful shelter photo. We've requested a new one to show how truly beautiful this sweet girl is).
Winnie's sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated...she makes playmates everywhere she goes. Once she feels safe and secure. Winnie will be a social girl and that means everyone she meets ultimately may become a friend. You know when a loved one approaches, Winnie's tail starts the greeting and it wiggles up through her entire body ending in a smile. And if your lap is available, up Winnie goes to cuddle and snuggle and let you know the level of her devotion. Winnie is such a wonderful being...we think she represents the best qualities of the Schnauzer/Terrier breeds.
At about 7 months old and 12 lbs, Winnie seems to have left behind the neglect and lack of love that made up her early life. She has become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier her family is with her behavior, the more she shines with her accomplishments. We would like to see Winnie in a home that includes her in family time and activities...she's very pleasant and would thrive in a family that truly loves her and considers her a very important family member. Winnie would be a wonderful companion for retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a truly adorable young pup. Winnie doesn't require another dog to be happy...but does enjoy her canine relationships with kind and gentle dogs.
We've requested that Winnie be spayed prior to her transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur due to far too few vets in this industrial area of Kansas. If it doesn't, Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Winnie's spay and microchip if our Denver vet is used.
