Allie is a big, hearty girl who also happens to have a huge heart. She is quick to wag her tail or rest her head in your lap. She pretty much assumes that every person she meets is her new best friend. She also is quite athletic and has a lot of energy, so if you are in the market for a loyal and sturdy jogging companion, you should meet her.
Allie is house trained and pretty good on a leash, though her strength can keep you on your toes. She responds to correction well. She already knows sit and shake. She is good in her crate, but her favorite place to be is outside. If your second home is the green belt, Allie would love to hang out with you. Despite her sporty tendencies, she also has a very sweet and sensitive side. A nice long hike followed by cuddles on the couch is her idea of heaven.
The perfect home for Allie is one with some more active owners. She would love a yard or frequent walks. She has been very friendly with all of the adult humans she has met, but we have not yet observed her around kids or cats. She would likely prefer to be the only dog, but could possibly bunk with the right roommate. She doesn't have a lot of patience for other dogs asserting their dominance. She's the queen of her castle, thank you.
If you consider yourself both sporty and sweet, then you might have met your soul mate in Allie. She is the perfect dog to take with you while you explore all that Austin has to offer.
