Hi there, I’m Stripes, and I am 6 months old. I was born in rural Oklahoma, and when I was still a tiny baby, someone dropped me and my brother and sisters off at Animal Control without our mom. Since we weren't big enough to eat food by ourselves, some people picked us up and let us stay at their house, and fed us with bottles until we could eat on our own. The people who were taking care of us had to move to Tampa before we were big enough to go back to the shelter, so they brought us with them so we're Floridians now.
I live with my foster mom and dad, and my kitten sister, Cookie Monster. I would love to go to a home with Cookie Monster; she is my best friend and I would miss her very much if we couldn't grow up together. People think she is pretty cute too. I have big, round eyes, and if you look deeply into them, you can almost see all the mischief that I’m contemplating. I am a petite little girl, the littlest one of my litter, and have an alert and curious face. I LOVELOVELOVE cuddling with people and hop up for a snuggle anytime a lap presents itself. I have a little obsession with tiny mouse toys and sparkly balls; I love to chase and bat them, and carry them around in my mouth.
Some of my other hobbies include playing with your buttons and jewelry while you’re wearing them, running up the stairs as fast as I can, playing with my tail (have you seen my tail? It’s delightful!), and also playing with Cookie Monster's tail (hers is interesting too, but not as delightful as MINE.)
I'm supposed to tell you that I am FIV/FeLK negative, spayed, microchipped, and inoculated up to age at adoption.
If you would like more information about or would like to meet me (and why wouldn’t you?), please contact my foster mom Julie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
