Polo belongs to an older woman who adopted him as a puppy but has since realized that he has too much energy for her. A good Samaritan has offered to foster Polo until the right home can be found.   Polo is a puppy and has puppy energy.  He is well behaved, affectionate and gentle but would really thrive in a home that can give him lots of exercise and stimulation and continue with his training.  He is so smart and so eager to please and training sessions and exercise sessions would be an excellent way to bond and help Polo to be an amazing companion.  Polo is good with children and other animals.  Polo is house trained, neutered, and current on vaccinations.  If you would like to adopt Polo please contact Peggy Stern at 908-246-6451 or pmpstern@yahoo.com

About Leader of the Rescue Pack

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of women determined to help as many dogs as we can. We find them on the road, lonely and scared and lost, or we help save them from euthanasia at the shelters. Sometimes we also receive owner surrenders, who for what ever reason, can no longer care for their pet. They might of had to move away, or can't afford the pet or lost their homes, etc, but through no fault of the dog. The pet deserves to have a second chance in life, and we help to make that happen!!

Our Adoption Process...

If you are serious about adopting one of our pets listed, please call or email us for more information. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. We will set up a phone interview with you to see if it will be a good match for the dog/puppy and you. Then we will ask for a vet reference, and also if you rent your home or apt, we will need proof from your landlord that you are indeed allowed a dog/puppy. Then we have a contract for you to sign and get back to us, then depending on the location of the dog/puppy, we will then arrange transport.
