Redmon's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Redmon's Story...
Redmon is a 4-5 month old puppy who was on the kill list at a high kill facility in Memphis because he had a broken leg. We decided a cute puppy like Redmon deserved a second chance at life, and had a surgeon fix his leg, and then he came to Pittsburgh to find his new family!
Redmon will make a full recovery, but he is currently on strict cage rest so that he can properly heal. We are currently looking for a home that can continue the strict cage rest, but who will also be ready to conquer puppyhood, and also be ready to exercise an active puppy, once he has clearance to do so.
If you would like to meet Redmon, please GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Redmon, a Pittsburgh Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
