Daisy LS's Story...
Daisy was found wandering at Woodlawn Lake a few months ago. She had been there for 3 days when a family intervened and took her home. She is estimated to be about 1.5-2 years old and appears to be a beagle mix with brilliant blue eyes. She is a medium size under 30 pounds. She is gentle natured, gets along with other dogs and children (we don't know about cats). She was obviously used to being in a home environment and is housebroken; she loves being around people.

Daisy has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $165.00 If you are interested in finding out more about Daisy, please go to www.homesforpets.org and complete an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy LS, a Schertz Beagle/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Shepherd for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
