We think Otis might be a Rat Terrier + Italian Greyhound + Dachshund mix. He was rescued from a home were he was starved and abused. Otis would love a home with adults that want a low energy dog who will sit with them. Doesn't like to stay outside so doesn't need a fenced yard. He'll be very happy with a short walk a few times a day. Otis has no fat layer to help keep him warm so can't stay out very long and loves to be covered by a blankie while sleeping. He rarely barks so would be great in an apartment. He'll be a totally faithful companion once he bonds with you. Otis has a typical terrier attitude - he is NOT fond of being told what to do so he needs a patient dog-savvy person who's willing to just let him sit with you until he's ready to accept more affection. No children please.
Otis is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations until October 2017, tested negative for heartworms, and started on monthly heartworm preventative.
