Here's what the humans have to say about me:
10/30/16 - update
These pups were born to a stray mama and had no interaction with people until they were caught: the girls in a trap and Martin with a net. I kept them in a pen and worked hard to try to socialize them. I would let some of my dogs, one at a time, in the pen with the pups. They were very attracted to other dogs. I would have dog sit by me. While the pups visited with the dog I would try to pet them. I also bribed them with food. I began by getting them to take food from my hand. Then I brought out the big guns: chicken, steak, pork chops. While they were taking the food from one hand I would try to pet them with my other hand.
They have gone to foster homes where they could be inside and have more people time. Martin has a way to go. These pups do not act like typical pups. They need homes where people will be understanding, patient, and kind. They should not expect too much from them too soon.
10/27/16 - Meet Martin
My siblings and I were found all alone in a wooded area. We do not know what happened but lucky for us some people were hiking and found us. We are now safe in a wonderful foster home and getting all the love and attention we can get.
I am about 10 weeks old
