Once every now & then, a dog comes along who completely stops you in your tracks. That dog is Connie. We think the perfect way to describe Connie is to say she is one of the most outstanding & loving dogs you will ever meet. Connie is exactly the dog people dream of sharing their lives with & that people search for a VERY long time to find. Connie is still a young lass at barely 1 years old & she has a beautiful rich chocolate/red & white coat. She is perfectly medium-sized at 50lbs & is a 100% lovable soul. Connie lights up rooms with her happy, easy-going temperament.
Connie is very well-socialized & a total mush ball. She currently lives with kids, cats & dogs (both large & small); she loves everyone & is especially gentle around children. Because she is a proper lady, Connie walks on a leash, is crate-trained, knows how to SIT on command & is generally a quiet dog. She has wonderful manners given her young age & is learning more & more every day. Connie does tend to be a little shy with men, most likely because she hasn''t met that many in her life. She currently lives in a home with a husband, wife & two children. She will occasionally try to steal gentle kisses from the husband & she likes it when he feeds her or give her treats but she really gravitates towards the ladies in the house. Connie would LOVE to have a female owner in the home to be totally devoted to.
Overall, Connie is a top-notch dog; an easy, pleasant girl. She is a perfect medium-energy kind of gal who loves a nice walk or trip in the car or to hang out with you at the park. Connie is ultra-dependable & loves to hang out right next to her humans. She likes to play but she also loves to relax.
This beautiful soul is available to adopt through Humane Society of Central Texas in Waco, 254-754-1454, ID# A073474. Her adoption fee is only $50 & includes spay, current vaccinations & microchip (what a steal!). Any lucky individual or families with kids, cats and/or dogs will delight in adding this gem to their home. If you are thinking Connie sounds like the dog you''ve been searching for, go ahead & meet her in person. You won''t regret it.
