Candy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Candy's Story...
Candy was huddled together with three other puppies at a high kill shelter in Georgia, the kind of place where unwanted dogs end up and never get a second chance. Now safely in foster, Candy is happy and without a care in the world, just as it should be. She absolutely loves to play with toys and the other puppies, but she is not a crazy, hyper girl. She is all about playing and cuddling. Candy is about 13 weeks old and weighs about 20 lbs. She has nice sized paws and will likely be a very big girl! Now all she needs is a loving forever family, could that be you? If you want to bring Candy to your house and home, the first step is to fill out an application. Please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out your application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Candy is up to date on shots and spayed. Full vetting and transport up north included in the $425 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what her true mix is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy, a Westport Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Westport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
