Leo's Story...

Leo has been adopted - his addition to the group makes 4! Two humans and two dogs - a perfect match as now each dog has their own 'person.'  Leo will enjoy the company of his 'canine sibling' who will teach him the 'rules of the dog park' as that's her favorite place t go.  I'm sure Leo will soon realize why his people have to 'spell out the word' dog park, as just saying 'dog park' out loud causes his sister so much excitement and anticipation of great fun!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Huntington Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
