Friendly, Playful, Affectionate
Pepper is social and likes to be near you! When you're home, he will follow you around, sometimes chatting. If you sit on the sofa to watch a movie, read a book, or work on your computer, then he will settle down, too.
Pepper and his brother, Chebe, were surrendered when their previous owner moved and couldn't take them along. They are great with each other, but when meeting new cats, they are fearful and defensive. They play gently with people, though have been known to play roughly if someone plays too rough with them. They are respectful around cat-savvy dogs, since they lived with two small dogs in their previous home.
Pepper will play with toy balls, wand toys, stuffed catnip toys, and pretty much anything that moves or has an alluring sound! He will use a vertical scratching post rather than scratch inappropriately. He's a big fan of soft, yummy, pate-type cat food, and may meow at you when it's dinnertime!
Pepper is sweet and lovable. Contact us today to set up a meet and greet!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
