Zazu is a large umbrella (or possibly umbrella-hybrid) cockatoo who was regretfully surrendered to FFSR by his previous family. Approximately 8 years old, Zazu is happy, curious, and loud--although he's not much of a talker. Zazu seems to thrive when sharing a home with other cockatoos. Zazu's previous owner worked diligently to teach Zazu to whistle in place of screaming, so, with a lot of effort and consistency, it may be possible to get Zazu to continue this behavior. Zazu can dismantle most bird cages and, in fact, the locks on his cage are among his favorite toys! He loves to chew on the cage locks or to bang away on them for long periods of time. Please call FFSR during phone hours for more information about Zazu.
We never ship our birds. Please go to www.feathered-friends.com for more info
