Guapo's Story...
Guapo is such a good looking little boy.  He is just a year old and weighs a little over 12 pounds.  Guapo is a Chihuahua mix and his heritage has resulted in a sweet, friendly and loving dog.  He needs his snuggles, of course, but also enjoys playtime and a good game of fetch.  Guapo is a social little boy with medium energy.  He gets along fine with other dogs and is even okay with cats. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Guapo has been dewormed, fully vaccinated and neutered.  He is available for adoption in either Victoria or Vancouver, BC.  If you are looking for a little guy who fits perfectly in your lap, then Guapo is for you.  Contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guapo, a Vancouver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
