A volunteer writes: It''s said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and no one makes it easier for you to see than Mumford. His eyes are crystal clear and gorgeous and he makes soft eye contact the entire time you''re with him. I read his heart behind his eyes and what he wants most in the world is a home and a person or family to call his own. Mumford seems to be housetrained, pulls on the leash slightly, takes treats hungrily because he is (we''re feeding him an extra meal daily as he''s too thin). He catches treats on the fly like the best Yankees outfielder -- they''d be proud! He''s absolutely stunning, and he wears his one ear up one ear down so majestically that we received a ton of compliments as we walked through the park. He has the best face! Interested in everything going on in the park, he cuddles in quickly for a kiss, but there''s simply too many fun things to check out on a family day in the park. Off leash, he plays quickly with a plush toy, and as we walk back to his area he greets every small kenneled dog with a soft tail wag. He''s an absolute joy, ready to find a new person or family with whom to snuggle, enjoy nutritious food and lots of love. Are you going to be the lucky one to welcome Mumford into your heart?
