Belly rubs and playing with other dogs are two of her favorite past times.  She would do best in a home with an active family and/or another dog to play with.  A fenced yard is required with her adoption. Misty is heartworm negative, spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm pills. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Contact us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com to find out more about Misty!

About Project Hope Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We focus primarily on rescuing senior and special needs dogs in kill facilities. We are located on 30 acres of land in rural southern Michigan. We are a care-for-life facility, so any dog that does not or that we deem cannot be adopted will live with us for the rest of his/her life. Because we rescue the dogs that are not in high demand, it normally takes our dogs longer to find that perfect family. We believe that it takes a special family to adopt our special dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

We require that the interested adopter come to meet the dog and then fill out an adoption application. We will review the application and then pass on to the dog's foster family (if applicable). We then contact the potential adopter's vet and we will also do a home visit. If all goes well, the adopter signs our adoption contract stating that, among other things, the dog will receive regular vet care and must be returned to us if things do not work out.
