Root Beer (aka Rooty) is a handsome Siamese/Tonkinese mix. His name was inspired by his stunning brown fur which reminded his foster family of a root beer float. Rooty is a mild mannered and gentle cat. He loves to eat wet cat food until he's stuffed then curl up in his bed and nap. Rooty enjoys talking especially when he's hungry, wants rubs, or sees something cool outside. His favorite pass time is to look out the window and observe. He shows interest in his cat toys but is not quite sure what to do with them yet. Rooty is a shy guy but he can't turn down good food or a good rub. He tested positive for FIV, but he is otherwise healthy. He could be a solo cat or with another friendly cat. He would do well in a quiet home with kids over age 10. We estimate he was born in 2014.
