I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.
My name is Tripp and I'm a 3 year old male 16 pound poodle/terrier mix who is looking for my forever home. I was a stray in Collin county who was brought to the shelter. They discovered I had an old injury on my back right leg that was causing me issues walking. I wasn't able to use that leg anyway since it had atrophied and stiffened and was crossing under my body getting in the way. They decided to remove the leg and I couldn't be happier. I get around so much better now. I get along great with my foster brothers both big and small. I am a friendly guy who would be very happy sitting by you while you pet me. I cannot get enough of that. I sleep in my crate during the night and when my foster family is away. I am pretty sure I'm housebroken since I have not had an accident yet in my first few days in foster care (knock on wood). I'm a sweet and good natured boy. I will make an all around great family member for just about any situation. For more on how to adopt adorable me, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
**Because we require home visits, we only adopt local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on our adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.
