Hi, My name is Leia and my foster family describes me as a very happy girl.  I'm a big girl at around 70 pounds but don't let that scare you, I am full of love and affection.  I am always happy to greet my family with an exuberant tail wag and entire body wiggle weather you have been in the bathroom for five minutes or gone all day at work, no difference to me, you still deserve my joyful greeting.  I am crate trained and when my family is gone I hang out in there.  I am ok left out at night though, where I prefer to spend the night on my mom's nice warm bed.  I stay there all night and keep her warm.  I also have been living with another dog and we love to chase each other around the yard and play tug of war.  I also like to go for walks too.  Walking on a leash is a work in progress for me so I have been using a gentle leader and walk wonderfully with it on.  I hope my forever family will take me for daily walks because I love the exercise!  I have also been living with two kids and they have been great to me.  I give the little girl kisses all the time and she thinks it's the best, the older boy not so much, but that's ok, he prefers to rub my belly and toss a toy for me to chase after.  I appear to be completely housebroken, which is great since I'm not even a year old yet!  I'm still working on my manners, I tend to jump up sometimes when I get excited so we are working on that.  Other than that, I am a real polite girl and don't require much more than any other furry friend wants, love, attention and exercise!  I hope to meet you real soon so you can see for yourself what a sweetheart I am!

Leia's adoption fee is $265.

We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times.
