My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juliet is being fostered in La Mesa CA through United Yorkie Rescue http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org.
Juliet is estimated to be 9 years old, and is 5lbs. She came to United Yorkie Rescue in September 2016.
Juliet is truly a miracle from God. She was found along side the road by an angel who thought she was dead. When the finder approached Juliet, she moved her head to see who was helping her. The kind lady brought her to the vet to get her pain medication and to see if she had a micro chip. Juliet's leg was severely broken and bone was protruding. As it turns out, Juliet required amputation of the leg because the damage was so severe, setting it wasn't an option. Since the lady who found her was not able to pay for expensive surgery, she took Juliet home. She did, however, pay $500 for that vet visit.
When the lady got home, she called 6 rescues and was turned away. Finally, Saving K9 Lives offered to network her since they were not able to take Juliet! Within a few hours, United Yorkie Rescue agreed to foster her. Finally, Juliet had some one to take her to the vet where she could have her amputation surgery at a reduced rate. Juliet had her surgery and was finally taken to her UYR foster home thanks to another great rescue organization who helped with the transport. Juliet is healing well and getting along nicely on 3 legs. She will need a lot of love and spoiling time which was something she probably didn't have before. We believe she was used as a breeder by some individual. She is getting along well with other dogs and a cat!!! She loves to he held and we've learned she enjoys turkey and blueberries.
Because of Juliet and the new relationship with Saving K9 Lives, 2 more Yorkie's were saved this week. Juliet is a Miracle.
Stay tuned for more updates. If you are interested in adopting Juliet, go to http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org.
