Oscar's Story...
Born March 2015. Approx. 8 lbs. Oscar is two year old chihuahua/dachshund mix and a smart little guy who loves to play with toys almost as much as he enjoys cuddling in your lap. No doubt about it, this little guy is playful; but once you gain his trust you will see his laid back side. His secret dream is to become a couch potato. Yup, this boy would love to curl up in your lap, or beside you, and snooze the day away. Oscar likes to pick his dog friends, and would do best in a home without young children. He knows basic commands like sit and down too! If you are looking for a pet that will entertain you and share lots of love, look no further. Come visit Oscar!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a San Leon Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
