Moriah's Story...
Hi everyone!!  My name is Moriah and I am the curest little brown and white female tabby approximately 1 year of age.  I was found in West Philadelphia when a local woman observed a man on a bicycle throw a black box into a cemetery. When the woman approached she saw that the box was in fact a microwave which luckily had broken open on impact and inside sat little Morrie. The man had deliberately dumped her in the microwave not caring that she could have died in there.  When my rescuer took me to the vet, he said that I  was severely underweight, flea infested and that I showed signs of recently having a litter of kittens that sadly we don’t know what happened to.

Hi everyone!! My name is Moriah, or Morrie for short and I am a super sweet and affectionate female brown tabby approximately 10-12 months of age. I was found in West Philadelphia where a local woman observed a man on a bicycle throw a black box into a cemetery. When the woman approached she saw that the box was in fact a microwave which luckily had broken open on impact as inside sat little Morrie. The man had deliberately dumped her in the microwave not caring that she could have died in there When my rescuer took me to the vet, he said that I sadly was severely underweight, flea infested and that I showed signs of recently having a litter of kittens that we don’t know what happened to.

My rescuers say that I am just sweetest, most loving kitty who just purrs up a storm!! I am not quite sure how I feel about dogs or other cats yet but I LOVE people! If you could find in in your heart to give a sweet and very deserving girl her forever home, please don't hesitate to fill out an adoption application for me at www.KittyJunction.org or if you have any questions at all about me, please email KittyJunction@aol.com!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moriah, a Horsham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Horsham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Horsham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Horsham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Horsham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Horsham paves the way for another one to be saved.
