Tex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tex's Story...
Tex is a sweetheart of a boy that is a people magnet. He likes to hog attention in between playing with his foster sister. Tex is not a fan of some cats, he will need to meet any felines you may have. He is fantastic with kids and is always right there to give smooches, he gets along with dogs but dominant males pose as an issue as well.
When first arriving to us, he needed to start heartworm treatment, being positive and had no clue what toys were. he is now heartworm free and made his journey from Texas to be spared a wonderful life at such a young age. He is housetrained and kennel trained, although he would prefer to roam when left alone. He does not destroy as long as shoes are put away and he has plenty of toys to play with, now that he knows what they are! Mr Tex with his brindle lying beneath his beautiful tan coat is looking for his forever family and would love to spend his first of many snowfalls with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tex, a Sioux Falls American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Sioux Falls, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Sioux Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sioux Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sioux Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sioux Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
