Walter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Walter's Story...
Walter is a (3) year old Australian Cattledog that is looking for a home experienced with herding breeds. He would love a home that will work with him and allow his natural herding instinct to shine!

Walter loves car rides, walks, and tennis balls! He has a lot of untapped potential when it comes to his natural abilities and would love a large yard with other animals and work for him to do.

Walter is friendly and has been raised around other animals (dogs, cats, horses) and kids. He may have a little too much fun tormenting the cat from time to time, but he hasn't hurt them.

If you would like to meet Walter, please fill out an adoption application at www.rhar.org!

Adoption Fee: $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walter, a Aurora Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
