I got adopted by a really nice guy back in 2007.   But because of hard times, he felt it was in my best interest to return me to MABBR.  Luckily, there was a foster home waiting for me and now I live with 3 other dogs.  I didn’t get a lot of time with other dogs as I was growing up so my friend skills need work.  I want to be friends but I’m just not sure how to go about it.

It didn’t take us long to figure out how this little guy pulled the heartstrings of the ones who work with so many dogs that have so little time. He is a charmer. He is an active man and loves to snuggle.  He’s a talker and loves to play with his toys.   But mostly he thinks he’s a big lap dog.  He’s got some minor skin issues that we’re working on but other than that, he’s a healthy 10 year old kid.

Nugs walks well on leash and has been outstanding at the events he has attended.

About Our Rescue Group...

Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed enthusiasts to save these delightful but often misunderstood dogs. Not only does MABBR rescue and find homes for homeless bull breeds such as American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs, MABBR also focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.
