~~Joy is a shy girl learning to be brave. She arrived at BAHS with her siblings, and it was obvious that the litter had been very undersocialized. Little things that we take for granted, Joy and her siblings never encountered before - like doorways, stairs, walking on a leash. With time and care, all of her siblings were adopted into loving, patient homes, but Joy needed more help. She was taken into a foster family whose feline, canine, and human members helped Joy learn to be a little more confident. Joy is still nervous with new places and new people, but she's come a long way. Joy needs to go to a home with a dog, as she loves other dogs and follows their leads. A canine companion will help her continue to build her confidence.
