If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, you will get a speedier response if you send a request direct to the specified contact person/foster family associated with your chosen pet. Sorry, we do not ship our cats, provide any transportation, or do out of state adoptions.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.
My rescuer was walking his dog after a rainstorm and found me, a bit damp, but raring to go!! His big dog was excited, but I walked right to him and said "pick me up!" Which he did, and now I'm warm, healthy and happy.
I'm just 12 weeks old, very friendly, playful, and LOVE to be held and played with. I like people, cats and am curious about dogs!
I'm spayed, vaccinated, tested for feline aides and leukemia, and microchipped.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
