Sapphire's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sapphire's Story...
Sapphire came to RHAR from North Carolina with her sister Sierra. Sierra has since been adopted, and Sapphire is wondering why it's taking so long for her forever family to find her!

Sapphire is 5-6 months old; she is an energetic girl and would LOVE a family with human and fur siblings, or someone active to keep her busy. She can be stubborn and sassy, but has a ton of potential. She loves people and enjoys cuddling during her down time. Sapphire can fit into just about any active home; she is dog, cat, and kid tested - and APPROVED!

If you would like to meet Sapphire, please fill out an adoption application at www.rhar.org!

Adoption Fee reduced to $150 until January 31, 2017!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sapphire, a Aurora Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Wirehaired Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Wirehaired Pointer for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Wirehaired Pointer puppy from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Wirehaired Pointer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Wirehaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
