Facts about Fosse

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
When you meet this cat you will understand why he is named after the great Broadway dancer and choreographer, Bob Fosse. A pure delight in motion, always trying to gain your attention and a real show off, this guy is pure entertainment. He is difficult to photograph because he is so busy trying to cuddle with the camera. Here is an outgoing, friendly and active cat who we think will be a great family addition.

Our Adoption Process...

Falling in love with a pet is easy and pet ownership is very rewarding. Adopting a pet, however, is a big decision. Dogs, cats, and other furry friends require a lot of time, money, and commitment. Our experienced adoption counselors will gladly help you find an animal that's likely to be a good fit for your lifestyle and living arrangements.

Adoption Fees:
Puppies (six months and younger): $150
Dogs: $85
Senior Dogs (7 years and older): $55
Heartworm Treated Dog: $135
Kittens (six months and younger): $85
Cats: $65
Senior Cats (7 years and older): $25

The adoption fee includes the cost of spaying or neutering your pet, micro-chipping, annual vaccinations and a rabies vaccination. There is an additional $13 fee for a Sarasota County rabies tag and registration for Sarasota County residents. Dogs must go home with a leash and collar and cats must go home in a carrier; all are available in our retail store.

Once you've decided that you're ready to make the commitment, check out our website at www.hssc.org to search our adoptable animals.
