Daisy Mae's Story...
Meet Daisy Mae:

Young, purebred, beautiful, healthy and a temperament of pure gold. Daisy has it all. She is in training to become a therapy and service dog. However, she would also make a most excellent family pet. She is confident, social and calm and focused. An absolute joy to work with.

Daisy is a mini Shepherd and weighed in at 50 pounds during her last vet visit. All the loyalty, intelligence and beauty of a German Shepherd in a compact easy to handle package.

Daisy is enlisted in my “Kamp K9” Companion Dog Program. The rescue is run like a military boot camp. Well, a country club really. The dogs live with me 24 / 7 in a home environment. No kennels. They each receive the very best care, training and socialization. I employ the same modern methods used to train the most elite Military Working Dogs and Police Service Dogs. Upon graduation, they are then placed into loving permanent homes.

My alumni dogs have gone on to become title holders, sport dogs, service dogs and of course cherished family companions and protectors. Because I can only work with a select few dogs at a time, all are reserved prior to program completion. This program is truly unique. It combines rescue, professional training and a personal touch not available from a commercial operation. Everybody wins!

(Each dog is unique. Specifics may vary)

Arizona K9 Rescue does not receive any grant or other funding beyond token donations. Adoption fees must cover the many expenses to provide the long list of products and services for each dog. Although this unique program is not for everyone, no other rescue provides more.

Adoption fees start at only $995 and are adjusted depending on the specific training and titles each dog receives. Given that puppies are selling over the internet sight unseen for thousands of dollars, this opportunity is an exceptional value. A single vet visit for that free dog could easily run more.

• Arizona K9 does NOT breed any animals.
• All dogs are rescued from local shelters and are spayed or neutered.
• Arizona K9 is a no kill rescue. No dogs are ever euthanized for space. We make a lifetime commitment to every dog in the program. Several have become hospice / sanctuary dogs and are loved and cared for to their last day. .

• Arizona K9 also offers all breed, all age training in the Phoenix, AZ vicinity. Free phone consultation.
• Basic and advanced obedience.
• Behavior modification. All issues.
• Evaluations.
• Protection.
• Keep your dog program. Even in non-pet approved housing.
• Re Home program. Do not surrender your dog to a shelter. They will not shelter them. They will likely kill them to make room for the 100+ dogs that will show up tomorrow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Mae, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
