Apollo and Astro along with 3 sisters are the puppies of a rescued beagle mom. These pups are all sooo sweet, They are a little shy but love to be held and kissed. Apollo is the more out going of the two. They have the best temperament and are really pretty calm for puppies. They were born on June 9th so they are currently 4 1/2 months old. Apollo weighs about 25 lbs and will probably be around 35 lbs when grown. All the pups look very much alike but a couple have short beagle legs like Astro and some have longer lab legs like Apollo. Apollo has been neutered, microchipped and has had three sets of puppy shots along with rabies and bordetella. Apollo has met our cat and just waited for kitty to come to him and they rubbed noses and acted like they wanted to play so we think he will be fine with cats. He is also very close to being housetrained. Apollo would make a great addition to any home with his exceptionally sweet and respectful personality. If you would like to make this little guy your new forever family member, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

About One More Last Chance - NY Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

One More Last Chance is a volunteer organization committed to saving as many dogs as possible in the east TN area and getting them into safe, loving homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are located in TN so it is not possible to meet your new pet prior to adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Email omlc7@hotmail.com to request an adoption application. Once we receive your complete application, an adoption counselor will contact you, usually within 48 hours of receipt of the application. If pet is still available, we will do a phone interview. During the adoption interview, the adoption counselor will tell you more about the puppy and our adoption processes, as well as answer any questions you have. Dogs and puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks and heartworm negative before leaving rescue. You will receive complete medical records for your dog or puppy at the time of adoption. The adoption fee is $500 and covers the cost of all veterinary care and transportation to your area. Our dogs and puppies are delivered via a USDA-certified van transport and receive an Interstate Health Certificate -- issue by a licensed, accredited veterinarian -- no more than 10 days before the dog or puppy leaves rescue. All of our dogs and puppies come into rescue from the "death row" of animal shelters in the south, or are owner surrenders or strays who were "pound bound" before coming into rescue. Adopting a dog or puppy from the One More Last Chance Rescue means you are truly part of a partnership to save the life of the dog or puppy that you welcome into your family. Our dogs and puppies are fostered at our rescue in Tennessee, meaning that it isn't possible to meet the dog or puppy before adoption. Our adoption counselor works with you to do everything possible to ensure that there is a good match between the family and the dog. We have had several hundred dogs adopted using this process and we have a very high success rate for a happy outcome. If for any reason an adoption is not successful, OMLC will work with the adopter to find the best possible solution for the dog and the adopting family. We can provide contact information for adopters in your area who can tell you about their experience partnering with the OMLC to save the life of a dog and make the animal a part of their family. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to find the right dog for your family!
