These beautiful Tabby siblings, currently known as Roxy and Rubin, were rescued from a backyard in Midwood. They’re now more than ready to meet their new forever family—in a brand new, wonderful forever home! (They wouldn’t mind having a foster home in the meantime, either…!)

Roxy loves to have long petting sessions and lifts her butt up high for more. It’s super cute! Her brother, Rubin, is a bit more timid, but once you earn his trust, he starts purring as your reward—the sweetest sound in the world—and begging you for pets. Both kitties are also very active and playful and, because they are bonded, must go to their new home together. They’re a package deal!

Both kitties test negative for FeLV/FIV and are up to date on vaccines. They will be spayed/neutered when they are old enough. If you’d like to adopt OR foster Roxy and Rubin, contact Tara Green at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

All Brooklyn Animal Action dogs and cats are available to foster or adopt.

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
