My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a sweet, gentle, fun, full-figured gal? Then Cher (who answers to Tillie) is your girl. She is 10 years old and is the process of losing a little weight that she’s put on over the years. She loves to go for long leisurely walks for exercise. She also loves hanging out in the fenced yard, smelling and sunbathing. Cher also enjoys a quick run and play with her foster beagle sister. She has the most beautiful beagle bay. She doesn’t use it very often but if she hears the call of other dogs in the neighborhood, she makes sure to answer them back.
Cher has mastered the ancient art of napping. It is by far her favorite activity. She enjoys a comfy blanket on the floor, a couch, or her favorite, on one of the human teenagers’ beds. She loves a good snuggle with the humans or her foster beagle brother and sister. Ear scratches are another favorite activity of hers. She is happy to lean in and receive as much attention as the humans are willing to give.
Cher does have the run of the house because she is not destructive. She is clever though and can open by-fold doors, so we have placed a chair in front of the door as a deterrent. She is house trained but does need to go out in the middle of the day while we are away at work.
Cher is a really laid-back, docile girl. She lived with a family and another dog before coming to Midwest BREW and I think she would enjoy having the companionship of another dog with her especially if her human parents are gone during the day. If you are looking for someone to take walks with, cuddle with, and just make you happy to be alive, Cher would be the perfect beagle companion for you!
