Additional Information: Olivia gets her name from her gorgeous green eyes, which contrast beautifully with her snowy white fur; if she were a person, she'd be a movie star; but she's no diva as she loves everyone! Olivia came to City Kitties as a transfer from another foster who nursed her back to health when she was sick as a kitten. She has completely rebounded from that tough start to be an energetic and playful girl who's ready for her forever home.
If you are interested in meeting a cat, we require an adoption application.
Olivia plays enthusiastically with feather toys but is as loving as she is playful; she's constantly purring and likes to sunbathe in a window. She enjoys having her own bed and blanket to curl up in. She consistently uses her scratching post; your furniture is safe with Olivia. She has a very good appetite and enjoys Temptations or Purina hairball treats along with her diet of canned and dry food.
Although Olivia hasn't been observed with other cats, her foster mom believes she'd really like playing with another youthful kitty if given the opportunity. Please consider making your home the forever home Olivia deserves; she's ready and waiting to meet you!

City Dogs Rescue is a foster based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. We focus on local adoptions in DC and the metro area of Maryland and Virginia. CDR has a thorough adoption process in order to find the best possible fit for each of our animals (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Our cat adoption fee is $150 unless noted. Prior to arrival, all of our cats are spayed/neutered (unless specified) and given shots for Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline leukemia. They are microchipped and tested for FIV and FeLV. They are dewormed at least twice and given a health check by the vet.

City Dogs Rescue is a rescue, not a shelter, and our dogs are located in temporary foster homes in the Washington, DC metro region. Adoption fee, home visit, and application required. CDR charges an adoption fee of $395 unless specified. This fee typically includes health care provided before adoption: all age-appropriate rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention prior to adoption, spay/neuter procedure, microchip when available, SNAP test for parasites, initial health check vet visit when going from the municipal shelter to City Dogs Rescue, and pre-adoption health care for dogs over the age of 1 year as needed. For puppies too young for spay/neuter: The fee is the same but does not include the cost of spaying and neutering.
