for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Christopher's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, declawed, and good with cats.

Christopher's Story...
I'm a handsome, long-haired, orange cat whose birthday is estimated as 10-17-13. I arrived at Acadiana Animal Aid on 10-17-16. You can fill out an application for me while my caretakers get to know me a little better! Christopher seems to be very sweet but very shy. He will do best in a quiet home where someone can shower him with love and affection. He is front declawed.

All of ours cats have been Feline leukemia and feline aids tested negative, spayed or neutered, vaccinated with FVRCP and FELV, rabies vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Christopher has a waived adoption fee because he is over three years old.

The first step to adopting any feline is to fill out an application at http://acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt/cat-adoption/application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christopher, a Carencro Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Carencro, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Carencro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carencro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carencro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carencro paves the way for another one to be saved.
