My name is LaLa and I am a 3 yr old, 57 pound, female Pitbull mix! I am a very sweet and loving girl who gets along well with other dogs and loves every human I meet! I am even respectful of the cats that are running around here! I can''t say the same about ducks, thoughÂ….. I found myself in the shelter when I decided it was a good idea to eat a duck. I may have had a spinal injury at some point in my short life as my back legs can get a little shaky when I get up after lying down for a long time. I am a great dog, mellow and affectionate and I love children. I''d fit right in!

Our Adoption Process...

We are not a same day adoption shelter.
To be considered as an adopter, you must:
1. Either own or be renting a permanent residence.
2. Be at least 18 years of age (or have parental permission in the adoption if under 18)
3. Have a current ID or Driver's License showing curent age and address
4. Be willing and able to provide adequate training, necessary medical care, and loving attention to an adopted pet
5. Pay adoption fees of $110 for dogs, $125 for puppies, $90 for cats and $105 for kittens. These fees include microchip and initial registration, spay or neuter surgery, license fee for first year, rabies and distemper vaccination when applicable and veterinary exam at local participating veterinary clinics. These fees also help partially cover the cost of the animal's care and feeding during the animal's stay at the shelter.
